It's Campaign Season (Somewhere)

Many students who visit the USA ask me, "How can I meet local people?" (These students often speak to the teachers, the staff in the school and their host families... and there's almost no contact with other people!). The solution is simple: VOLUNTEER. You can go to the local museum or... find a political campaign.

I recommend that students get involved in a local campaign. In Fort Lauderdale, for example, there is a campaign at www.voteglassman.com.

Why not get involved and ask questions? It's a lot of fun. Write to me if you need hints...
