Food Technology with V.S. Kilpadi
This section is dedicated to introducing students to the technical language of the food technologist. Vivekanand S. Kilpadi ("Vivek") has written numerous articles about advances and improvements in food preparation and processing. This page serves both as a summary of Vivek's work (to introduce him to potential clients) and as a teaching tool for speakers of other languages (since you will see what a successful command of English can achieve).

- Spirulina algae: creating snacks that contain the algae. Production of snacks was completed and tested in two communities (before the economic contraction in the USA halted support of the project) (1981-82).
