REVIEW:  I enjoy learning GROUPS of words -- FAMILIES of words.  I've used these titles for the past five years with good results.

The best way to create a series of discussions is to ask a student to design the lesson.   Here are some talks that Maria of Russia sent me.

What a clever series of visual images and graphics.

What can we do in a class about "conversation"?  Here are some tips.
Each week let's do something interesting.   This week is about Songs and LYRICS.

Today's "homework" (if you want to participate)

1.  Find a song that you LOVE in your language
2.  Translate the song or find a translation into English
3.  Tell us about the song:  what happens in the song?  Who is singing?
What is the situation?  What changes at the end of the song?

4.  THEN find a song that you LOVE in English (with lyrics)
5.  Can you find the song with lyrics on YOUTUBE.com?
6.  Try to download the song using zamzar.com (that is an experience)

6.   I found an excellent song by Bob Seger... I love that old time rock and roll -- with lyrics.
Bob Seger  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cuzva_2CGAY   excellent words!
