I've traveled to over 45 countries and I've almost three years in other countries.  What can we learn from each other?

I've developed a pronunciation system called "It Sounds Like" and I hope people will avoid using IPA (backwards C, a+e, upside-down V).  Let's talk!   Write to freeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.   My Orkut and Facebook accounts are both linked to FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.

I
am a teacher in a school in Fort Lauderdale.

I have written some articles for Teacher Training -- look for them here.
http://www.VisualAndActive.com is my training website:  YES, you can hire my colleagues and we can prepare an EXCELLENT long-term training program for teachers.

Teachers who are visual learners often turn into animated presenters of information. Here's a way to identify the visual and active teachers.

A Method of Evaluating Visual and Active Techniques in Teachers

Teachers who are visual learners often turn into animated presenters of information. Some of these teachers may find that their colleagues "don't understand them or their methods." A system of evaluation to help visual teachers improve their skills is needed. I've developed a series of questions based on a presentation by my mentor, Dennis Yuzenas. You can find the ten minute video at a youtube channel called www.Youtube.com/visualandactive. Search for Dennis Yuzenas" and you'll see a ten-part presentation. Listen to the first 10-minute video and then try to answer these questions:

Teacher’s Sheet (make notes below each question)

1. What is Edu-tainment? outside the textbook (35 points) TARGET WORDS

2. How would you deliver your lesson? points: 25 TARGET WORDS

3. How do you handle kids who are talking in class or not paying attention? POINTS: 30 TARGET WORDS

4. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation did a study to find out why students drop out of high school. Which of the following is or are the leading reason(s) given by students who have dropped out? a) the student's need for money (and to get a job) b) illness c) the family's need for money d) fear of other students (lack of security) 10 points TARGET WORDS

Using this system, it is possible to identify teachers who are visual presenters and to encourage them to develop their facility by emulating other visual presenters.
