How do you introduce yourself to your students? Here's what I say:

I started working at Center for English Studies in November 1996 on Las Olas Blvd. After earning the Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), I became interested in using videos in the classroom.

You can see some of the videos on YouTube (FreeEnglishLessons and Mistermath) and at video.google.com.

I l_ke to l___ve out l_tt_rs to enc___r_ge st__dents to pron___nce and spell words (and make m__st__kes). I like to use Facebook and Orkut (SET YOUR LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH!) to push students to find new words (the Phil Haney Technique). Come, sign up: Look for FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com and join the fun. Ask about the REAL football game at Holiday Park (usually Monday from 4-6 p.m.). It's all about reading and learning new words.
