Steve McCrea
I've traveled to over 45 countries and I've almost three years in other countries.  What can we learn from each other?

I've developed a pronunciation system called "It Sounds Like" and I hope people will avoid using IPA (backwards C, a+e, upside-down V).  Let's talk!   Write to freeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.   My Orkut and Facebook accounts are both linked to FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.

I
am a teacher in a school in Fort Lauderdale.

I have written some articles for Teacher Training -- look for them here.
http://www.VisualAndActive.com is my training website:  YES, you can hire my colleagues and we can prepare an EXCELLENT long-term training program for teachers.

This article discusses several ways to use an ESOL or EFL teaching certificate to get jobs in other countries...

How about Italy?

Learn to Become an ESOL Teacher (and travel the world!)
So, you want to travel (and work as a teacher -- teaching something you know:  English)!

Barcelona is a popular place for Europeans to study English and for English-speakers to teach English in private language schools.

You need to read at least ten articles before you take the first step to becoming an ESOL or EFL teacher.

Here is the PREMIUM certificate (widely recognized): CELTA

Here's what WIKIPEDIA writes about CELTA

Why not learn something about "Second Language Acquisition"(That's teacher talk -- you'll hear a lot of acronyms and special vocabulary -- cant -- in this academic field...)

If you want to learn about the innovative ways of teaching pronunciation patterns, why not visit these web sites?  (As a teacher, you need web tools like these to keep your students studying and practicing -- and if the exercises are ONLINE, most of your younger students are more likely to complete the practice).

Pronunciation Patterns is an advanced full-featured program and it costs less than $200.  Imagine if you could offer to your students 4000 words for them to practice?  You could sell them a great practice program (and you can earn some money, too).

My YouTube account at YouTube (Look for the account called "FreeEnglishLessons") has numerous pronunciation exercises.
