Steve McCrea
I've traveled to over 45 countries and I've almost three years in other countries.  What can we learn from each other?

I've developed a pronunciation system called "It Sounds Like" and I hope people will avoid using IPA (backwards C, a+e, upside-down V).  Let's talk!   Write to freeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.   My Orkut and Facebook accounts are both linked to FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.

I
am a teacher in a school in Fort Lauderdale.

I have written some articles for Teacher Training -- look for them here.
http://www.VisualAndActive.com is my training website:  YES, you can hire my colleagues and we can prepare an EXCELLENT long-term training program for teachers.

Steve McCrea's Bio
Steve taught his first class of ESOL in 1996 and was hooked.  He obtained his CELTA certificate in 1997 and has trained teachers in the use of technology in the classroom.  His web site FreeEnglishLessons.com has a section for teacher training and he created a book with his students called English for a Successful Life (ESL) (available from iUniverse.com and also available as an ebook).  He welcomes comments and suggestions at FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com and via Skype at SteveEnglishTeacher.  A former employee of the US Department of Energy, he has channeled his interest in alternative fuel vehicles into helping students find alternative ways to practice their new language.  He is a teacher at the Embassy Fort Lauderdale Study Center.

His DVDs are available at FilmBaby.com and CDBaby.com including Put Something Useful On That iPod and The Get Ahead CD for SAT Preparation

He provides web content to his wife's travel web site Roadlovers.com and he is an avid sponsor of  tree planting.  Two of his favorite charities are TreesWaterPeople.org and Plant-Trees.org.
