Steve taught his first class of ESOL in 1996 and was hooked.  He obtained his CELTA certificate in 1997 and has trained teachers in the use of technology in the classroom.  His web site FreeEnglishLessons.com has a section for teacher training and he created a book with his students called English for a Successful Life (ESL) (available from iUniverse.com and also available as an ebook).  He welcomes comments and suggestions at FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com and via Skype at SteveEnglishTeacher.  A former employee of the US Department of Energy, he has channeled his interest in alternative fuel vehicle
s into helping students find alternative ways to practice their new language.  He is a teacher at the Embassy Fort Lauderdale Study Center.
