Steve McCrea
I've traveled to over 45 countries and I've almost three years in other countries. What can we learn from each other?
I've developed a pronunciation system called "It Sounds Like" and I hope people will avoid using IPA (backwards C, a+e, upside-down V). Let's talk! Write to freeEnglishLessons@gmail.com. My Orkut and Facebook accounts are both linked to FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.
I am a teacher in a school in Fort Lauderdale.
I have written some articles for Teacher Training -- look for them here.
http://www.VisualAndActive.com is my training website: YES, you can hire my colleagues and we can prepare an EXCELLENT long-term training program for teachers.

You need to know the patterns of pronunciation. You need a program like Pronunciation Patterns.

Here are the features:
1. 4000 words (clear pronunciation of each word with a "sound graph" to show you how the sound is made) The program teaches you to pronounce the English sounds correctly.
2. PATTERNS: You learn phonics rules and patterns to understand and remember the pronunciation of words. What are the different ways to pronounce "EA"? There are three major groups: great, eat, bread. You can organize the words with "ea" to fall into one of these categories.
3. GROUPS with RULES: You practice words grouped by phonics rules and patterns.
4. LISTENING: You improve understanding by practicing similar words.
5. JUST FOR YOU: You can create your PERSONAL word list.
6. TIPS ABOUT ACCENTS: You will learn to understand linkings, stress, and intonation.
If you can find a program like this for under $500, I suggest that you should buy it. It takes me 25 hours with a student at $40 per hour to reduce their accent. I give them a lot of help, but it costs $1000 (minimum).

This is what Mr. Xin Wang told me, "You can offer a 15% discount by using your name as the discount code. If the buyers use your name (STEVE McCREA) as the coupon code, I will know they were referred from your site."

Where is this? If you know, then you can play Traveler IQ!
Pronunciation Patterns is an investment in reducing your accent -- the program will help you speak like a native. I use it in my classes.
