I've traveled to over 45 countries and I've almost three years in other countries. What can we learn from each other?
I've developed a pronunciation system called "It Sounds Like" and I hope people will avoid using IPA (backwards C, a+e, upside-down V). Let's talk! Write to freeEnglishLessons@gmail.com. My Orkut and Facebook accounts are both linked to FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com.
I am a teacher in a school in Fort Lauderdale.
I have written some articles for Teacher Training -- look for them here.
http://www.VisualAndActive.com is my training website: YES, you can hire my colleagues and we can prepare an EXCELLENT long-term training program for teachers.

I taught four students from Riyadh in 2000. We had a wonderful four weeks and they even barbecued meat on the beach for us at the end of the course. It was wonderful. Muhammed, Bandar, Ahmed and Akbar. Great guys. Then 9/11/2001. I spoke with Ahmed once and he said, "I am not surprised what happened because your government has done many mistakes." I tried to keep in touch by email, but he changed his email address. Bandar called in 2003 and left a message, "I hope you are not angry with me. I am very sorry about what happened in New York on September 11." But he didn't leave a phone number or email address.
So, if you are a student from the Middle East, or if you know someone who lives in the Middle East, please contact me. FreeEnglishLessons@gmail.com. I hope you can tell your friends that some US people want to "build bridges" and make an effort to understand other cultures. Can you visit our school in Fort Lauderdale and talk about your country? It would help our students expand their understanding about the Middle East. My mobile phone is +1 954 646 8246 and I accept text messages. You can send an email (short) to my phone at 9546468246@vtext.com.
I also teach teenagers (16-, 17-, 18-year olds) about how to prepare for university and I tell them, "You can practice English with my international students." If you want to practice English with my local students, please tell me and I can share email addresses or facebook contacts. I told my U.S. students, "You can improve your opportunities in the world ifyou have contacts with people from other countries." Many of them have 300 FB contacts, but they are all in USA, Canada and England.
If you and your friends want to help my US students expand their understanding of the world, tell me. I can connect you and you can get some free English Lessons from students in the USA.
Here are some links to videos for practicing English. I hope they are helpful.
